Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, which recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. Last week was National Small Business Week and, in honor of it Art & Money Matters volunteered for one of the largest organizations providing small business services (among many other services) to the NYC community (particularly in Brooklyn), CAMBA. Last year, CAMBA was named one of 3 organizations nationwide that make up the Micro business Solutions Learning Cluster, an initiative by the Corporation for Enterprise Development (CFED) designed to help organizations design more powerful, user-focused products and services to enhance micro business owners’ financial capability.
